Melex On-Site Long-Term Contracts.

Our On-site Rental package encompasses a comprehensive suite of services, including the provision of the vehicle, full vehicle insurance coverage, monthly on-site preventative maintenance, responsive breakdown callouts, and the supply of service spares and replacement parts throughout the Rental contract's duration. Before the contract initiation, we conduct a thorough review of application requirements, offering operational recommendations tailored to factors such as site location, terrain, vehicle rotations, routing, charging logistics, inclines, range considerations, driver specifications, vehicle options, and programming needs. For customers looking to concept-test their chosen Rental vehicle, we facilitate Pilot projects in collaboration with the customer project leader. Additionally, for applications involving traversing or utilizing public roads, Road Legal vehicles are available to align with specific routing requirements.

Electric vehicle rentals

Our on-site Rental contracts include the provision of both new and refurbished shuttle andUtility vehicles including off-road models, according to the customer needs. Shuttle sizes range from 2 seater to 23 seater models. Our road legal models include annual road licensing, number plates, laminated windscreensand wipers, seat belts, 4 wheel hydraulic brakes and comply with all relevant SA road transport authority requirements.

On-site preventitive maintenance

Within our on-site rental contracts, we integrally embed a monthly on-site preventative maintenance service tailored to each individual vehicle. This proactive approach not only addresses immediate needs but also emphasizes ongoing care. The service is complemented by comprehensive monthly service reports, providing a meticulous account of the maintenance activities undertaken. This commitment to regular upkeep ensures the longevity and optimal performance of each vehicle while fostering transparency through detailed documentation

On-site support and spares

Maintenance spare parts, on-site repairs, callouts to the site, consumables, and the removal of vehicles to the workshop if necessary. Additionally, our team conducts thorough assessments of any bodywork, uprights, or roof damage resulting from accidents, providing detailed quotations for the necessary repairs.

Insurance

Our vehicles come equipped with comprehensive insurance coverage as a standard offering. However, in instances where customers opt for self-insurance, specific conditions apply. This approach ensures flexibility and caters to the unique preferences and needs of our clientele while maintaining transparency in the insurance process.

Customised options

There are a range of choices, including custom-made rear utility boxes available in both open and enclosed configurations, bull bars, tailor-made and fitted rain covers, on-roof solar panels, emergency and patrol lights, LED night lights, NET ambulance stretchers, fire equipment, canvas seat covers, and limited slip differentials, among other offerings.
